Biography

Mykhailo Vasyliovych Hladii is a distinguished Ukrainian statesman and scholar specializing in agricultural economics, agrarian policy, and the organization of agro-industrial production.

He graduated from the Omsk Veterinary Institute in 1975 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He earned the degree of Candidate of Sciences in 1996 and subsequently obtained the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences and the academic title of Professor.

Professor Hladii has held numerous senior leadership positions in public administration, agricultural governance, and scientific management. During his distinguished career, he served as Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Ukraine, Member of Parliament of Ukraine, and First Vice President of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

He currently serves as Advisor to the Directorate of the Institute of Animal Biology of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, where he contributes to the Institute's strategic development, scientific policy, and international cooperation.
